Executive Fluency

For CXOs, managers & leaders

Your English should carry the full complexity of your thinking.

Your English may already be good enough for daily business. But when your thinking becomes more demanding, your English may become slower, less precise and more dependent on your mother tongue.

You do more than describe reality.

As an experienced professional, you question assumptions, compare explanations, qualify your position, notice contradictions, predict consequences and change your mind while you speak.

Your English may work perfectly well when you report facts. The real limitation often appears when you need English to carry reasoning, doubt, contrast, judgement and uncertainty in real time.

  • Challenge a conclusion without losing authority.
  • Explain why the obvious answer may be wrong.
  • Consider what would have happened under different conditions.
  • Express a thought that is still developing while you speak.

That is where your professional intelligence can become smaller in English than it really is.

More English may no longer solve the problem.

You can add more vocabulary, more grammar and more explanations to your memory — and still build your most complex thoughts in your mother tongue first.

Then English comes second. You search for words, reshape the sentence and try to transfer a finished thought into another language.

If this is your pattern, the issue is not simply how much English you know. It is the mental process your English still depends on.

Build the mind that can use English from within English.

At an advanced level, your goal is not to collect more English information. Your goal is to develop a way of thinking that lets English carry your reasoning more naturally, precisely and freely.

English should stop being something you continually reconstruct from your mother tongue. It should become a language through which you can analyse, question, qualify, hypothesise and respond.

The English Production System

A different starting point for advanced English.

The English Production System is my own training approach for changing the mental process behind speaking — rather than adding another layer of school rules and theory.

I work with the structures and decisions that make English function as English, so that your mother tongue no longer has to remain the starting point for what you want to say.

The aim is not “more English”. The aim is English that can carry the level of thinking your role requires.

You probably do not need another English course.

You already know English.

You work, meet, read and communicate in it. The problem appears at a higher level.

Your role requires complex thinking.

You need to challenge, negotiate, qualify, defend and rethink — not merely describe.

Your English still feels translated.

You understand more than you can produce naturally when the stakes or cognitive demand increase.

If your professional thinking is stronger than the English that carries it, let’s find out why.

We will look at how your English behaves when you need to reason, respond and formulate more demanding thoughts. If my approach fits your problem, I will explain what working together would look like.
